Susan Overton, M.AmSAT

I began studying Alexander Technique when I had chronic neck pain. Not only am I free from pain, but my coordination, balance, poise and posture have greatly improved!  I completed an 3-year training, so that I could teach others what has benefited me.

Alexander Technique lessons are education instruction, with half of the lesson focused on everyday movements, such as sitting, standing, bending, and walking.  The other half, the student is on the massage table, with the instructor directing the student's movements. Instructors are trained in body mechanics, therapeutic touch, and habit retraining.
